According to recent rumors, future versions of anything from the 2018 Hyundai Kona to the 2018 Hyundai Tucson could soon get the N Performance treatment. Each of these models would become way more powerful, with an increased focus on the driving experience and unique performance parts. A proposed Hyundai Kona N, that may or may not be put into production, is said to produce nearly 250 horsepower! That's a lot for a small crossover. The Hyundai Veloster N, which will come to American dealerships this year, can put out 275 horsepower. You can tell that these N Performance cars are ready to impress.
The real big news may be that a new Hyundai model exclusive to the N Performance lineup could be developed. Engineers have already designed concepts based on the Hyundai Veloster hatchback. It would be easy enough to turn a vehicle like the Hyundai RM15 concept into an exclusive N Performance vehicle. It was built around an aluminum frame and outfitted with carbon fiber panels, along with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that can put out nearly 300 horsepower.
